About Vanessa
Experience
Vanessa is a solicitor specialising in family and private client law. She has extensive experience in dealing with divorce, financial issues between both married and unmarried couples and is equally at home resolving disputes through negotiation and mediation or, where necessary, via court proceedings.
Vanessa is also an experienced private client solicitor dealing with Wills, probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications.
Background
After graduating from the University of Kent at Canterbury, Vanessa completed her law finals at the College of Law, York. She undertook her practical training with Argyles solicitors in Tamworth, Staffordshire and qualified in 1995. Following qualification as a solicitor, Vanessa remained with Argyles in the litigation department covering litigation and matrimonial work.
Vanessa subsequently moved to Cheltenham and joined Nick Hutchinson & Co in 1999 before joining Star Legal, where she continues to specialise in matrimonial issues and litigation.
