An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified commercial property Solicitor or experienced Paralegal to join our Clifton office. This is a new role as we continue to expand our existing property department.
Working directly with a newly appointed Head of Department, the successful applicant must have a good working knowledge of commercial property matters and have a proven track record of managing their own caseload and time. A following within the local area would be beneficial but not essential.
You would be dealing with a purely commercial property caseload with no crossover into residential other than possibly building scheme work or development site set up transactions.
A professional, friendly and reassuring approach to dealing with clients, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines is essential. The applicant should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be interested in driving the department forward and getting involved in marketing; all of which are qualities that are essential for this role.
Strong IT skills are required and the candidate must have previous experience of using case management systems.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Friday 9.am–5.pm, although flexibility with hours may be required on occasion. The position is office based.
