About William
Experience:
William is a Senior Associate Solicitor and Head of the care department the Bromsgrove office. William has over 17 years of experience specialising in children law and represents parents, children and family members in both public and private children law proceedings.
William holds the Law Society's Children Law Accreditation. This accreditation is a recognition of his specialism in children law and also enables him to represent children via their children’s guardian. William has experience conducting a range of cases including complex care proceedings involving issues of sexual abuse, non-accidental injuries to children, fabricated or induced illness, serious domestic violence and child abduction with an international element.
William also has expertise in criminal law having previously worked as a criminal duty solicitor representing clients both in the Police Station and Magistrates Court. William's knowledge on these matters has often proven invaluable to his clients subject to both care proceedings and private children act proceedings.
William provides practical legal advice, skilled representation and works tirelessly to help his clients reach a solution that serves the child’s best interests.
Background:
William graduated from Bristol University (Masters in Aerospace Engineering) in 2005. William completed the Graduate Diploma of Law in 2006 at UWE. William went on to complete his Legal Practise Course at UWE in 2007. William qualified as a solicitor in 2010.
