About Rachael
Experience
Rachael is a solicitor working in our Family Team. Based in our Portishead office, she assists Jennifer Chudleigh. When first making contact Rachael is often the person to deal with your enquiry, and does so with a sympathetic and practical approach.
Rachael is experienced in dealing with:
- divorce and the dissolution of civil partnerships, including between same sex partners;
- the financial consequences of relationship breakdown;
- arrangements for children;
- property division between unmarried cohabitants;
- domestic abuse, including where the Police have been involved.
Background
Rachael qualified as a solicitor in 2001, after completing her training with a firm in Kent, specialising in Family and Criminal Law. Returning to the West Country, Rachael spent many years working for a specialist Family Law firm in Bristol, and joined Star Legal in 2018.
