About Annabel

Experience

Annabel qualified as a solicitor in 2008 after completing her training contract with Gateley in Birmingham. She has recently joined the office in Walsall working within the mental health and court of protection team. Annabel is supervised by Kirstine Mcfarlane. Since qualification, she has worked for and on behalf of vulnerable adults and children. She has specialised in working within the court of protection and with other agencies; for example the police and charities, who have a remit to protect individuals requiring specialist care. Over her career, she has provided training and support for a number of organisations, including contributing the MSc programme in Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester.

Background

Annabel attended the University of Glasgow and graduated with a MSc in Politics and Social Policy in 2001 and In 2004, she graduated with an MPhil in statistics and research methods. She studied for the CPE at the University of Birmingham and then the legal practice course at the College of Law. Her principle passion in life is horse riding.
